Marcie is a Chinese-American animator, video producer, and one time game-maker. She is originally from Minneapolis and currently works in NYC as a motion designer. Right now, she animates for Vox's "Explained" series on Netflix, though she was previously at Great Big Story, Quartz, and NPR.

In her personal work, she aims to explore human psychology through a humorous, surreal lens. She once wore a mustache for a video. She would one day like to make a movie.
